About the Company

Surgical Pouch is a sterile services pioneer that offers an alternative to outdated, unsustainable and inefficient medical PPE and sterile services.

Surgical Pouch & Masks have been developed over a decade of research and experience. Our Managing Director, Tim Saunders has spent over 15 years within the sterile services industry, and has applied his vast wealth of knowledge in the development of the polymer material that is used in our Surgical Pouches and Masks.

Due to the current pandemic, our focus has shifted onto the masks as a priority, and we have designed and have a patent pending on a revolutionary reusable FFP3 certified mask which hugely reduces waste from the thousands of masks used and disposed of daily within the NHS, whilst the filtration level is 10 times higher than any other FFP3 mask on the market, effectively giving the highest level of protection to our NHS frontline users.

About the Role

To improve the efficiency of the production of the masks, we need to fill the role of Production Manager. You will be joining a team who will be changing the supply of a patent pending protective mask to the NHS and many other industries. This is an incredibly exciting time to join Surgical Pouch and be a key component in the company as it grows.

The role will include the following:

  • Organise, manage and resource the production function of the business.
  • Source and manage suppliers.
  • Source and obtain optimal pricing and delivery co-ordination of all materials.
  • Manage and lead the business in delivery of consistent and high quality patent pending product following many years of research and development.
  • Evaluate and consider customer feedback in the future development of the product alongside the other directors.

About You

To be the ideal person to join this exciting company you will need to have the following skills and experiences;

  • Experience managing a production line of a highly specific nature.
  • Experience within the textile industry, preferably medical grade materials.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Willing to travel to meet suppliers and oversee production.
  • Self-starter, able to work efficiently alone and self-motivated.
  • Have a positive outlook, can do attitude and friendly demeanour.
