An update has been provided to us to forward onto our members.

The requirements of this fund could be applied to work very well for ‘clusters’ wishing to pilot, develop or establish a ‘getting into work’, ‘getting productive’ or  traineeship type programmes in Fashion & Textiles. Guidance on how formal traineeships work can be found here. The fund could also work for internships

This fund is available across Creative Skillset’s sectors so we expect a high number of applicants and would suggest you apply as soon as you can.

  • The fund is to support those aged 19+ and not in education.

  • Project development costs could make up to 20% of the total project budget.
  • A clear programme of guided learning must be evidenced and evaluation must take place.

Effective use of the fund

This is an excellent way to bridge people with entry level skills into the industry or could be a programme by which to improve their productivity.
