The ASBCI is looking for a sponsor for the 2024 ASBCI Innovation Award at this year’s Fashanne Awards. Designed to give fashion students a chance to showcase their innovative thinking as well as their design skills, the award encourages entrants to think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and develop a new product or process for the fashion industry.

Last year’s ASBCI Innovation Award was sponsored by Style3D and was won by Luoyuan Zhang from Nottingham Trent University, who scooped first place with his collection that fused nature and fashion and drew attention to the cruelty of the silk industry. We are now seeking a sponsor for the 2024 award and interested members are invited to get in touch at [email protected]

Founded in 2016 by journalist and TV presenter Anne Davies, Fashanne aims to support and nurture the very best emerging and young design talent from universities, by connecting this new generation of designers with some of Britain’s most iconic fashion and retail brands as well as offering financial support and mentoring.

The Fashanne Awards are the only fashion and textile awards and internship programme showcasing the incredible student design talent being nurtured in our universities. Since its launch in 2016, over 500 students have taken part in the Fashanne Awards. Students have not only won the prestigious awards and cash prizes, but also had the chance to gain valuable experience within the fashion industry thanks to our internship programme, bridging the gap between education and employment.

Sponsorship of the Fashanne Awards is an opportunity to give back and support your CSR/ESG goals as well as establish long-term relationships with young design talent and raise your brand profile. Brands already supporting the Fashanne Awards include Next, Paul Smith and Pentland Brands to name but a few. The Fashanne Awards – Fashion Designers of the Future 2024 will take place on Thursday 20th June 2024.

To find out more about sponsoring the ASBCI Innovation Award, contact the ASBCI office. For details of the other available categories, please visit the event website at Fashanne.com or contact [email protected].
