Whilst at Marks and Spencer Graham became technical and commercial expert in cotton use from fibre through to retail engaging with all aspects of the entire value chain globally

Graham has been involved in raw material sustainability for the last 15 years and during that time oversaw the M&S introduction of  organic cotton, Fairtrade cotton and the start up of BCI cotton.  He has more recently carried out similar work with other brands/retailers and various cotton organisations. For a number of years Graham represented Marks and Spencer on the board of what is now the Textile Exchange.

In May 2017 Graham will be the moderator at the BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), Global Cotton Conference in Berlin – chairing the discussion on “Your Cotton Portfolio”.
