The Textile Institute World Conference 2023

The Textile Institute's Corporate Member the University of Huddersfield will host the next Textile Institute World Conference, 3-6 July 2023.

The conference model has been updated, and abstracts are welcome from both industry and academia. At TIWC 2023 individuals and organisations will be able to select the option of making a presentation only, at the conference, rather than submitting an academic paper, to allow for greater industry representation and participation.

The conference theme ‘Sustainability of the Textile and Fashion Supply Chain – Transitioning to Zero Carbon and Zero Waste’, is focused on identifying the current scenario as well as emerging sustainable practices and solutions throughout the whole supply chain of textile and fashion products, starting from raw materials to manufacturing processes, distribution and retailing, use by consumers and up to the end-of-life phases. Abstracts are welcome from both industry and academia.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for people to come together for a face-to-face Textile Institute conference for the first time since 2018.

There will be lots to get involved in including presentations, panel discussions, forums and workshops. The University of Huddersfield will be selecting people to take part from the abstracts received.

The Textile Institute are delighted to announce the Founding Sponsor has been selected and a number of sponsors have already signed up. There are still a number of Sponsorship opportunities available Gold: £5,000, Silver: £3,000 and Bronze: £1000.
