ASBCI TECHNICAL SEMINAR - "The Challenges of Risk Assessment and Product Development"

Thursday, 12th September 2019 - Eastwood Hall, Nottingham

Brand reputation can be improved – or damaged – by complying to regulations and standards.

A brand’s status can be enhanced when it is seen ‘to do the right thing’ – that may be to own up to a product’s consumer safety risk, or possibly withdraw it from sale.

TÜV SÜD is sponsoring ASBCI’s Technical Seminar on 12th September 2019 in Nottingham. During the seminar, TÜV SÜD will be sharing key regulations and risk assessment matters that are critical to apparel and will also include a ‘hands-on’ risk assessment workshop led by an industry expert in this field. Our team of experts will also be conducting a Q&A session.

SPEAKERS:

Keynote Speaker - Guru Prasad, Regional Manager - Technical Solutions (Textiles) at TUV SUD will cover Regulatory Updates

Sophie Patel, Consultant at Appraise PTC will talk about 'Specifying a product'

Geoffrey Willis, International Senior Apparel Industry Specialist - CText FTI will talk about 'Assessing and reducing the risks in sourcing apparel'

Geraldine Cosh, Director at Geralidine Cosh Consulting Ltd will cover 'Risk Assessment and Foreseeable use'
