The ASBCI Committees

Events Committee
Throughout the year, the Events Committee plan a range of industry related conferences, seminars, webinars and events for both corporate and student members. Surveys are conducted throughout the year to ascertain what the most pressing issues are within the industry. Using this information the Committee pools together its list of contacts to arrange high quality events featuring world-class speakers.

Executive Committee
ASBCI Directors appoint volunteers to the Executive Committee that is responsible for the overall management of the Association. Most of the committee are nominated by premier member companies. The full committee generally meets twice per year to review activities and agree strategic direction.

Marketing & Membership Committee
The Marketing and Membership Committee maintains regular and close contact with current and prospective corporate and student members to ensure ASBCI activities are relevant to industry needs. Action is taken through conferences, webinars and seminars to address key issues, distribution of useful information via publications and value added working groups.

Student Committee
The Student Committee has academic representatives from member colleges and universities, plus up to three student members. It meets four times per year to plan a range of activities and awards.

Technical Committee
The Technical Committee manage the production of new technical booklets, and updating of existing ones. Written without commercial preference, many of these titles are now recommended texts within trade and academic organisations worldwide.
