Why Join the ASBCI?

Simon Platts, Consultant

I became involved with the ASBCI soon after joining ASOS in 2013 and quickly realised the value the ASBCI could bring to ASOS through networking opportunities, learning and development, industry events and its charity work. I particularly appreciated the ability to share news and insights and work with members on seminars and events to drive change in the sector. Even though I am no longer with ASOS, I have stayed involved with the ASBCI to help move the association and the industry into new spaces around education and building strong networks to support the next generation as well as existing partners within the industry. I look forward to seeing how the ASBCI builds on and adapts its position during this period of rapid change.

Elizabeth Brandwood, Style 3D

Having been a part of the ASBCI for over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing first hand the positive impact the association has had on the UK fashion industry. Through a range of events, seminars, webinars and insightful content, the ASBCI has consistently provided invaluable support and thought leadership. In particular, the in-person events have been instrumental in offering key market insights and fostering crucial networking opportunities for brands, retailers, and suppliers. It’s a great honour for me to have recently taken on the role of ASBCI Event Chair, and I’m excited about the opportunity to further expand and enhance these events, ensuring they continue to provide significant value to our members.
