UL Solutions labs in Italy, China, India, and Bangladesh have been approved by the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Foundation to perform chemicals testing according to the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) version 3.1.
UL Solutions will support ZDHC’s goal to implement its new MRSL in global textile and leather value chains. Additionally, UL Solutions will support sustainable chemical management by helping to avoid the use of banned substances during production and manufacturing via the testing and certification process.
UL Solutions can now conduct MRSL Level 1 testing for chemical manufacturers to help them become certified by ZDHC MRSL Level 1 and allow them to enter their information in the Gateway – Chemical Module.
