The conference will take place from 7-10 October 2025 in Porto, Portugal, at the Porto Palácio Hotel & Spa. Hosted by AQUITEX, this edition of TIWC marks the first time the event is organised by an industry leader, reflecting the growing collaboration between academia and the textile sector.
The theme for TIWC 2025 is “Fibre to Future – Transforming Fashion and Textiles through Sustainability and Digitalisation.” Discussions will focus on the challenges and innovations shaping the future of textiles, including:
- Sustainable solutions for textile production, circular economies, and waste reduction
- The role of digitalisation in improving efficiency, transparency, and sustainability across the supply chain
- Practical strategies for achieving carbon neutrality in line with global sustainability goals… and more
