Spark Factory opts for DeSL PLM platform

Canadian creative textile platform Spark Factory has implemented DeSL’s cloud-based PLM platform to modernise its product development processes and ensure a single source of truth.
Spark Factory develops nearly 5,500 new products each year for more than 20 lifestyle brands. Its implementation includes several key DeSL modules designed to connect design, development, and production in a streamlined digital environment, including DeSL’s Adobe Illustrator Plug-in, which allows designers to connect creative work directly with the PLM. This eliminates duplicate data entry, keeps artwork synchronised, and accelerates the transition from design to development.
Prior to implementing DeSL, Spark Factory faced challenges with disjointed tools and manual processes, relying on spreadsheets and email communication. These fragmented systems created visibility gaps, data inconsistencies, and inefficiencies across teams.
By moving to DeSL’s integrated PLM ecosystem, Spark Factory now benefits from a unified platform that centralises product data, automates manual workflows, and enhances cross-department collaboration. The solution enables real-time visibility into product status, consolidates development milestones, and ensures that all team members are working from a single version of truth.
