The one-hour webinar, which is now available to view online, featured an in-depth conversation with Sam Borg, Bortex COO, and Dave Richards, DeSL corporate director, about the implementation of DeSL’s solution across Bortex’s business and the benefits it is delivering for the company.

Bortex is Malta’s longest established and most respected name in formal men’s tailoring. The company was established in 1964 with the Dutch based Van Gils Group and went from strength to strength supplying high quality garments to leading brands throughout the European market.

Over the years, Bortex has diversified into womenswear, childrenswear, accessories and sportswear, continuing to provide high quality garments to leading International high street names with private label products such as Ralph Lauren, Gant, Gagliardi, Betty & Co, Barbour, Lacoste, Hackett and more.

During this Fashion The Change webinar, Sam Borg shared how Bortex has partnered with DeSL to digitalise key business processes in its product development and supply chain by deploying a cloud-based solution offering visibility and ease of use.

DeSL worked with the Bortex team to identify gaps and opportunities in the company’s process and offered industry expertise on best practices to transform its end-to-end operation. The discussion touched on efficiencies gained and how Bortex is now positioned to deliver on its sustainability goals.
