The next members-only webinar in our transformation-focused series Fashion The Change will see hosts Simon Platts and Garry Knox in conversation with Hazaar founder Harriet Noy about the UK’s first student-exclusive online fashion marketplace.

Join us on Wednesday 10 December at 1pm as we find out about innovative new student fashion marketplace Hazaar, which offers brands a way to meet their regulatory requirements and reduce waste by offering archived stock to students at a discount.

Our guest Harriet Noy, Hazaar’s founder, will talk to ASBCI director Simon Platts, SP & KO Consultancy and former responsible sourcing director for Asos, and ASBCI vice chair Garry Knox, sustainability director for GreenEarth Cleaning, about how she came up with the idea for the platform, how she works with different brands and the opportunities offered to students, as well as the challenges and lessons learned through the process of setting up her own business.

Hear from Harriet about how, within just seven days of launching the site in October, the platform already had 25,000 students registered and 11 brands signed up. There were 13,000 students on the site over the launch period, demonstrating the enthusiasm for the platform among its target customers.

She will also explain why Hazaar is a better solution for brands than disposing of unsold stock and how Hazaar creates carefully curated collections for each brand based on seasons and trends.

The webinar is free to attend for ASBCI members and will include an audience Q&A so you can put your own questions to Harriet about Hazaar and her journey. Register here
