We have had a request from our academic members for the ASBCI to coordinate donations of deadstock fabrics and components from industry members for use by students.
These would be distributed to students free of charge during periods of financial hardship, enabling them to use high-quality fabrics and hardware for sampling and manufacturing for university coursework. It would also encourage sustainability and circularity within the students’ portfolios and the wider industry.
