A fresh way to learn for inquisitive minds

MOTIF is launching its brand new Re-Imagine & Invent Learning Series, a programme of 2 hour case study based virtual learning experiences starting this December and spanning across 2021.

For our first instalment on December 8th, we're welcoming Keith Hoover from Black Swan Textiles, Andrea Quek from TIRA 3D and Frank Henderson from Henderson Sewing Machine Co. to take you through an interactive case study that looks at the fundamentals of how garments are designed, developed, and manufactured and then identifies how digitalization can be applied in each stage and across the process.

Come with your thinking caps on and with a collaborative mindset. Seats are limited for this session, so don't delay, secure yours now!

Time to think strategically about skills

Part of the ASBCI's Beyond 2020: Survival of the Smartest new event series, this first webinar organised with event partner MOTIF, will open with a presentation by Jackie Lewis from MOTIF on the findings of the State of Skills in the Apparel Industry 2020 Report, followed by a debate with a panel of experts including Jenny Holloway from Fashion EnterKate Hills from Make it British, Lindsay Clarke from Planet Personnel and moderator Dr Julie King from ASBCI.

On Tuesday 2 December, 10:30 am London / 11:30 am CET, join our panelists in an engaging discussion as they consider how to identify essential skills, the importance of upskilling and investing in existing staff, and recruitment strategies to fill vital new roles.
