The University of Manchester is inviting select industry partners to put forward challenge briefs around the broad theme of Sustainable Fashion & Retail for an interactive Innovation Lab workshop with academics from a mix of creative, technical and social disciplines.

The event will enable development of collaborative project plans that could provide solutions to the challenges and inform future products and services. The event will run from 12-5:30pm on 3rd December 2024 in person on the University campus, business partners will be matched in advance with a team of academics from different but complementary disciplines and through a process of ideation and needs identification will develop a project plan that than then be pitched for seed funding to cover the initial academic time.

We are planning to run this sand-pit style event in with academic researchers from a wide variety of disciplines including Textiles, Fashion & Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, CSR, Supply Chain Management, and Social Sciences; we would love to hear from you and your potential challenge area.
