David Callet  

Principal, CalletLaw

David Callet provides comprehensive client representation on all aspects of consumer product safety and product regulatory compliance.  He guides clients on how to create and implement product safety compliance programs that reduce product recalls, limit products liability litigation, and help protect their valuable brands from adverse publicity associated with non-compliance with product safety requirements.  He represents clients in matters involving the U.S. CPSC and other federal and state agencies.

 

Louann Spirito

US & Canada Softlines Business Head, SGS

Louann joined SGS in 2001 as Technical Director of Softline products for the US marketplace.  Currently, Louann leads our SL team as Business Head for US & Canada.

She has a BS in Textile Science from University of Rhode Island and over 25 years’ experience in the Textile and Apparel industry and has worked in Quality Assurance for AMC, Calvin Klein, and Frederick Atkins.

Louann is an active member of AATCC and ASTM and sits on several technical committees in these associations. She is also an active member of the Product Safety Committee of AAFA and has been closely involved with CPSIA.

 

Garry Knox

Sustainability Director, GreenEarth Cleaning

Garry Knox has been the Sustainability Director since 2014, following ten years of service with U.K. GreenEarth affiliate, Johnson Cleaners.

Garry’s background has mainly been in Retail Marketing, including roles at leading U.K. retailers Marks and Spencer and Littlewoods.  He became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing after graduating from the University of Central Lancashire.

Garry is also on the board of the Association of Suppliers to The British Clothing Industry (ASBCI).
